Just out of curiosity has anyone got their flightsuit replica from COSPLAY SKY??

I noticed they do the 2 part suit and as I am now a happy owner of the Lid was planning to get the suit from these guys.

So any input appreciated.

Cosplaysky in Argentina do a decent enough starting point for a replica flight suit (both a 1-piece and a 2-piece).

You'd need to obviously finish it yourself with adding the arm and leg patches etc. which you can easily get on eBay. They offer good value overall as long as you're prepared to go the extra mile yourself to make it more authentic. And if you've got an SWS lid then you're already half-way there.

If you want the boots, try Motorcowboy.com, as they have the replica directly from my original JMV boots... but you'll pay for them obviously as they're hand-made leather and bespoke to your feet. Only thing they can't do is the fancy buckle system the originals had but a local shoe-repair shop should be able to put decent buckles on post-manufacture.

Thank You very much Mark.

Great to speak to you again, last we spoke was in the 90s if memory serves lol

Noticed your collection is just getting better over the years.

Been using the forums but as a [naughty-policed], figured time to get fully onto the horse LOL

As for the helmet, well not SWS, rather a UK prop builder however he has done an amazing job. Working target light, visor down but 2 working fans instead which TBH as a costumer with the UKG (apart of the 501st) I am glad for them LOL

The boots, ahh yes have seen these when scouring the web, your not wrong on pricey LOL

Here will do. The feature is there for you to use. Downsize them a little though or they'll be cropped off by the forum frame. Thanks.

Very interesting how he built it for you. Wow, it's so different to how SWS did his, but ingenious all the same for having no reference.

So I assume each hat switch is assigned to the target line (front one?), and a fan each?

I'd talked to SWS about this one and the cooling fans the other night, however it just wouldn't work with his design to the bespoke inner shell he created. Plus his hat switches are used up instead by the working visor, thus unless he made hidden switches on the inside it wouldn't be practical on many levels.

The SWS model could certainly do with them though as depending on the wearer, they do get hot. Steve used an anti-fog visor nowadays though so they're less likely to steam up.

I can say this about yours though. Having worn Ernie's original helmet (of which all the SWS models were originally based on), the internal construction hat suspension netting looks a lot more comfortable than Ernie's soundstage helmet, which was horrible. They'd to stuff a whole manner of things in there to make them semi-comfortable for the actors.

Cheer's Mark.

Yeah the builder of the helmet has only made 2 thus far (maybe doing another unsure at present).

The one I have is the original build which has a cast made from it, that much I do know.
The second helmet only had a working target light. Whilst this one as said 2 fans and light.

Each switch activates each item so in theory you could wire both fans to One switch and rework for a working visor. Though that would require new battery placement for starters.
However I actually like the visor down and anonymity that comes with it. So fans work for me.

Not sure of how heavy SWS helmets are, this one would equate to the same as a Motorcycle helmet so yes this form of inner head wear works very well and is indeed comfortable laugh I have a 24" XXL head size so works a treat for me.

I am hoping the prop builder will make another as I would really like to get another to turn into a REDWOLF helmet. Failing that Jason Brains in Germany does the Vac Form Airwolf helmet kit as another option for the REDWOLF helmet.
For Airwolf helmet this is certainly my Winner. Well till the day I can claim possession of a SWS one that is lol

Would actually love to compare side by side with a SWS.
