I appreciate Marty's opinion but half of the charm of Airwolf Themes is the improvement made upon Mr Levay's original tracks. Way back when I bought the DVDs I noticed just how good some of the tracks were compared to the originals.

So in my view, doing a "George Lucas" and "improving" existing tracks would be step backward. I just want new material.

Marty technology has improved so much that you can reproduce horns and full orchestras using Pro Tools that sound pretty darn close to the real thing. It's how alot of people produce that kind of music on a budget these days.

Depending on the resources Mark has, i'm sure there's a way to reproduce that stuff without ever having to recruit an orchestra, or "synth-down" an existing orchestral track.

'Airwolf Main Themes EP', best album of 2009?

...oh hell yeah!
